I think they're worth it in the right platform, I wouldn't pay that kind of money for a 4cyl notch though.

Looks like a legit build. You could buy a lightly used 2011+ 5.0 for the same money this one will likely go for, but you get the best of both worlds with this one. Fox Body with Coyote Powerplant. I would love to put a coyote motor in my fox, but for how much it would cost & then having to get it Reffed through the absurd referees, I would just do what I did and buy a new 11+mustang.
Plus with that you either have to take out a personal loan, put it on a credit card via paypal, or pay cash. I couldnt see banks offering an auto loan on that car unless maybe you had 800+ credit score.

Why did you not go with the warranty?

Because I bought a partially finished coyote swapped '93 Cobra and it didn't come with a warranty.

Like said above its all about the liability of the motor and being thats its pretty new. I remember many post like this when the 03/04 cobra came out people were doing swaps and selling the cars at this price.

I know it will sell, I just think its crazy if it had a dart block in it making the same power, same shape car and same drivability, it wouldn't bring the same money

I dont think you can get 400rwhp out of any small ci motor na dart block or not with the same drivability. Its gonna have a cam in it at least and that's what a lot of people dont like. Also the dart block is old technology. It shouldnt be worth as much.

Dart block you can get up to 1100-1200 hp maybe more but there are members here that have dynoed over 1g hp, countless others I know personally who are over the 800 hp club on a dart block, which I think is a more viable option cost wise.

I know a Dart block can hold a ton of power. Im saying building a small ci motor n/a and getting 400rwhp is not going to be as mildly mannered as a coyote motor.

Im saying i dont think you can build a small na ci motor Dart block or not with 400rwhp and have it be as street friendly as a coyote motor. Which is why people are spending so much money on these swap cars.

Id like to see a 302 na with 400rwhp with street manners like a coyote. Youve got some magic then.

It would have to have better internals and stroked and high compression just like the coyote motor.

I don't why anybody would want a 302 cubic inch dart block, but if someone wanted to spend $10K plus on a zero balance all billet internal short block, then it might happen, it's all about the money spent on the right parts, but if you went on a $5K budget forged internal 347-363 short block I don't see it being a problem.

While the Coyote is a great motor and very streetable I just wanted MORE !!!!! This is why I went with a Dart 427 for my build. I can keep it N/A or boost the hell out of it and call it a day.
