Usually do my own work, however I have seen horror stories of ppl attempting to install them in their garage. So im wanting to find a local shop who has experience & is reasonable priced.

I would advise against going with long tube headers on a 4.6 mustang as they are not smog legal, may cause ground clearance issues and could develop leaks.
I will be installing a set of JBA shorty headers on my 2001 Cobra next week and before anyone says "go long tubes or go home"
check out this thread:
JBA DOHC Cobra shorty headers VS Kooks long tube headers
I'll say it again, if we are talking about a street car here in Northern California, you will be making a big mistake installing long tube headers on your 4.6 mustang.

i didnt see if he had cams or not, but adding cams to a 2v 4.6L adds an additional 20rwhp my boy went from 280rwhp full bolt on with cams added long tubes w/ matching o/r x and hit 305rw

Fuck smog, ground clearance is an issue no matter what exhaust you have when your cars lowered and my long tubes have never leaked.
Care to spew anymore bullshit out your mouth?

Alright tough guy, how is mod motor mustang going to get past a smog inspection here in Northern California?
Long tube headers do hang lower than factory exhaust set up and that's a fact. Congrats on having a long tube set up that does not leak.

Props to you for being committed enough to spend the time and money for a header swap every two years just to run long tubes on your 4.6 Mustang here in California. Jugging by your reasoning, I'm guessing that you are probably some young kid.
Just when you think you have heard the most stupid shit, CAFords comes to the rescue with nonsense like this thread.
