Isn't that the truth. I see immigrants who can't speak a lick of English sitting at the grocery store with carts filled to the brim while loading it in their new 2012 focus all while I sit here working my ass off and going to school barely cutting it and they sit in their nice house 'raising' 7 kids to do the same thing. Hate to say it but every time this is posted it becomes more of a cliché...
So what if we do all the jobs that no one else wants to do? How else do you think u get 100 white-T's at whole sale for 99cents each and sell them for $4.99 retail at the liquor store...
Sheeeeeyit!

I'm not racist but it is simple economics, Americans would work the fields given the opportunity but why would a farmer hire an American and pay him 5 dollars a day and pay taxes on him AND now pay healthcare for him when that farmer can hire and illegal under the table for 1 dollar a day and not pay anything on him. The "we do work Americans won't do" excuse is played out and false.

I know the feeling quite well and understand your position, ive been there. But you know damn well you've seen non immigrants doing the same thing. But I also know immigrants who work 16 hours a day for minimum wage or even less and so does their spouse and the sister and brother in law who they share a house with, just so they can afford to buy all those groceries and pay for that car. I was born here in sac and so were my parents, but we are proud mexicans. My dad was able to raise me and my brothers real well thanks to his six figure income, which in my opinion isnt too shabby for a high school drop out. It wasnt handed to him, he busts his ass for it. But thats how we as a culture are raised, we arent afraid of hard work. While im aware that not all immigrants are mexican and theres exceptions to every rule and lazy leeches of all ethnicities. The bottom line is people come here to EARN a better life for their family, and we dont expect jack shit to be handed to us. [ December 15, 2012, 05:40 AM: Message edited by: 06ragtopgt_SOS ]

I just understand why people who come here illegally get a better deal than our homeless, makes me wish I was an illegal sometimes, my dad was an illegal in the the late 60s, they gave him a choice fight in the Vietnam War or get deported.

The issue started a long time, when people from other countries would come to this country for labor and they could cross the border legaly all day long and the usa didn't mind. Overtime those people made this country their home and build this country to great country that it is. Now a days if you cross the border here and get caught u get jail time and penalties for ten years. Everyone thinks it so easy to cross here. Inform yourselves before u open your mouth

I dont think they get a better deal off the back, they get up and make something out of nothing. Most homeless people are addicted to drugs or alcohol. That addiction keeps them homeless, rather then thinking about the future they just think about their next fix or beer. The whole blame illegal immigration taking my job is played out. If you have a job where an illegal immigrant can come over and take over your job,you must have a shitty job.
I would how ever agree that the whole paid education is bullshit, so what if this person gets a degree. They still cant get a job legally so its pointless.
Welfare has been abused by every nationality. There are american families that have generations on welfare/section 8 etc etc...
We need tighter border security. Tighter requirements for welfare eligibility. Time limits for welfare. The list can go on and on but nothing will change because the people in charge of this country and state need this people to stay in office.

This post is a racist period, it is indirectly pointing to people south of the boarder.
The solution is NOT boarder control, historically countries south of the USA have been victims of imperialism. If these countries could have a steady economy that does not depend on the US's, things might be different.
Frankly I'm say to say Mexico's immigration problem is the cause of many years of social problems, rich & poor gap, political corruption, drug trafficking, and many other issues. But with out proper education and other social programs(as the ones found in the USA). The Mexican government keeps their people oppressed period!
Boarder control is not a solution neither is war intervention over drugs. but these problems have escalded to the point that something needs to ge done. If people had the opportunity to have any paying job in Mexico where they could do more than just get by, they would not be seeking employment elsewhere. Again I am just speaking on behalf of Mexico, I know the boarder problem taps in immigration from Central America, South America, Asia, Africa, and some European countries as well.
I think in short, the problem lies within that country's economy and whether they can provid thier citizens with an adequate life.
Maybe we should all migrate to China I know their economy is growing at a steady rate that could soon rival that of the US's....!

This is pretty true. I will see them begging for work, any work... even washing windshields at the gas station... but I rarely see them begging for a handout.
and I don't agree with the theory that illegals do the jobs Americans won't... Illegals do these jobs, for wages that Americans can't... because unlike most illegals, US citizens pay taxes... could you imagine making what an illegal makes AND paying a portion to the government? So the government could then hand that money out to some lazy ass...
