First and formost I want to thank Jason and mike at TPS these guys called me up one day and asked me if I was looking for a k-member kit. It's so crazy cuz I was. So we sat down and talked. I dealt with this shop on my tranny issues And some other stuff. We were talking and Jason told me that grenatelli has a good kit and it also converts the front to coil over, also A arms. So I did it I took my car out last night after picking it up and man oh man all the noise I have been hearing are gone im stoked. I've been in a lot of cars with k-member swaps and they do not feel this good. It literally feels brand new car and strong. I really recommend calling Jason up at TPS and talking to them. They got the best deals On k-member coil over kits. I guarantee nobody can match.

Jason I'm telling you this kit is a bad ass kit for how much it cost. I did the whole setup you want and shaved off 100 pounds. If you want to see it go on There website and look under 03 mach1 and it's the black one thats kris. It's got pics all up. I even went with full hime joint tow way adj upper and the lowers to match. It's a nice package. Now I can put in my long tubes with no problem.

From what I've read granitelli is an extremely cheap knockoff off maximum Motorsports. With lots of failures. Research it. It's all over the net. I don't know if stuff has changed but there has been many accounts of catastrophic failure.

Ive been in all fords with all types of k-members , kenny brown, maxium motor, even some high 8 sec cars on and everybody complained about the driveability. Bro my whole car is a budget build.Maximun kit is almost twice as expensive and FYI I think this sport is all about money and for the price these guys are selling them for its perfect for the budget man. I'm only promoting this setup cuz I like it and they did give me a player deal. I think 2k plus tax is what mike and Jason are letting them go installed. So I'll be out here running my cheap knock off kit. I'll keep everybody posted on the results.
Ya Keith you know how we do it out here. They did hook me Like I was a family member. Good shit TPS.

FYI, there's a website that sells granatelli's Platinum K-member kit for about $700. It's basically the entire front end if I'm not mistaken. I too researched them and read too many bad things about the quality so I stayed away. I wish you luck with your setup though.

Yea it's always a gamble with a cheaper kit . I got was the full drag one and also got there fully adj upper control arms and there lower control arms also. Its all warranted work and parts. Well if you know me I beat hard on my car when I do drive it. So I'll be the ginnie pig if I can't brake it on my setup then It's a solid kit. Im happy with it.

What spring rate and height did you go with?
Did you go with standard length a arms or fox body ones?

So the TPS deal looks like $700 for parts + 13 hours of labor @ 100/hr + tax. Does it really take that long? I've never installed one. [ December 21, 2011, 10:19 AM: Message edited by: g-ride14 ]

Thanks for the props Kris....
Always willing to take care of good customers when it's needed.
We have just begun carrying all of Granatelli's stuff, and I offered Slomo a package deal with install just so he could give me feedback on how it performs and if he likes it. I always like to hear first hand on how things are rather than heresay or the internet.
Granetelli has redesigned all of their suspension parts(as you see it says on the link provided by "Beastly"). I too have read and heard the issues they have had in the past, and complaints.
I carry Granetelli stuff now because they have redesigned it and i'm even going to be installing it into one of my fox's.
I carry Maximum Motorsports, UPR, AJE, Racecraft, QA1, BMR, Steeda, ETC....and install them all. Granetelli seems to work real well, and is an option for those guys(as Slomo said) who are doing budget builds trying not to go bankrupt on a project.
Slomo received: Energy Suspension Polyurethane Motor Mounts Granetelli Motorsports Kmember Kit(Drag) Granetelli Motorsports Tubular A-Arms w/sway bar delete Granetelli Motorsports Rear Adjustable UCA's Granetelli Motorsports Rear LCA's(weight jacker) Granetelli Motorsports Front Coilover Kit with 175 spring rate(drag)
Also, the kmembers dont take 13hrs to install. It takes 6-8 and has to be plummed correctly. I've seen alot of guys just bolt these in and go, but it needs to be plummed as you see in this pic in order to be set straight and true. Especially if you drag race.
