Went ahead and traded my built 01' Cobra in for a 2005 Caddy CTS-V. Got a good price on it, with low miles. Ummm... Can't really say I'm missing the Cobra lol...
The Cobra:
and then the Caddy:
the guy that owned it before me was the original owner. He powder coated the stock wheels, lowered it on Eibach Prokits, and he rolled the fenders. So far I'm in love!! It's stock besides a K&N intake, it ran a 13.4 @ 111 on some shitty 245 tires... I think 12's with Some good tires is possible.

Hey scott its Mario the caddy is off the hook good choice shit is clean... one day we need to get dustin to take pictures of the caddy and the TBSS.... If you want any future mods done hit me up and ill send you my buddies way SEAN04.... Dustin knows him too and he saw his caddy at the track this past weekend.....

John: I've got some 03 Mach 1 heads in good shape. And it wheel hops no more than my cobra did, but the diffs are weak on these. Pretty much the only downfall on the car....

Looks sweet man, I was real close to picking one up a few months ago, But decided to hold out for an 03/04 Cobra.
The rear ends are supposed to be okay as long as you're not a stupid driver. If it wheel hops let out, or you could stay in the gas and destroy it lol

Damn, I was trying to figure out what you were doing dumping all the Cobra parts. Looks nice though, as long as it makes you happy then roll with it.

Yes the Mach heads are stock. I have brand new FR500 valve springs for the right price. And yes theeee..... Cadillac is my DD lol!

I respect what those cars are & I would LOVE to own 1. I respect what GM engines do, but I couldn't stand to be stangless. Gotta at least have 1. Plus, Ford stepped it up with the new 5.0...

Those cadis are nice I drove a relatives cts a couple times. They move pretty good.
I woulda done the same thing and let the cobra go.

I guess it's a nice car... I woulda kept the Cobra. Something about Cadillac makes me uneasy... like the fact you can get a 4-6 year old $100k car (2004-2006 XLR's) for like $18k-$24k? Or the formerly $50k+ CTS-V for $12k-$20k?
Meanwhile, 8-10 year old Z06's (MSRP $50K) are still selling for $17k-$20k... even the 99-01 Cobra's (MSRP $28k-$32k) still sell for $10-$15k... You can even go back around 20-22 years and look at 80's-90's 5.0's... original MSRP was like $12k-$16k... and they still sell for like $5k and in some cases still sell at MSRP!!!
So 75-80% depreciation versus 50-66%... all in the same economy... Fuck that... I'm straight like indian hair...
