I've been busy for a couple months so I haven't been around here lately. Looks like all the conversations have died down except for a few flame wars and the site is mostly about selling things now. What happened? Where'd everybody go?

i'm here. I no longer post as much. I'm just lurk now since most of the posts are not of my interest.
The crowd has changed too much for my liking, but i still come and go. I've made some good friends here so their threads (new best times, stuff for sale, achivements, etc) are of my interest.

I've seen somewhat of a cut off point. Member 5k and up seem to be 90% (means not all) of the problem members so to speak.

couldn't agree more. you know what's funny, when you see members in the 6k calling OTHERS newbies.. and they've been here for less than a year and think they are tough shit.

Wow, I'm just shy of member 5K and been here for over 3 years now with over 2300 posts. I've been a member at Corral.net for the same amount of time and have about 20 posts total. I've met a lot of good people, bought and sold cars and parts..... I'm on this site every single day. The good outweighs the bad by a huge percentage here.

I was member number 10 but forgot my username and password after not visiting the site for 3 years.
The site has changed alot and not for the better, but the ford sale section has gotten a lot bigger.
Not all of the members over the 5k marks are quieffs tho.

actually it is the way of the web. Discussion boards and peer to peer type deals are more used today then way back when. I run 2 really big discussion boards and I am having to do lots more moderation these day than I used to a few years back (but of course they are both over 10k members a piece now). So what cafords is going through is nothing new.

Im relatively new on here too, been a member since only march, but even in the short time ive been on here Ive noticed a change too....Most of the folks that Ive met on here, especially the Sacramento heads, rarely post on here anymore...Hell, folks arent even down to cruise anymore. I planned a cruise last saturday & only got a couple of replies, & only two other mustangs besides streakMatt & myself showed up...the cruise only ended up being myself & matt, & caliboy rolled with me to catch some flicks....I guess u cant get cruises to have a good turnout unless your name is Jessie P...LOL!!!!
