I couldn't get the modified intake to work.... for some reason A/F went CRAZY lean even though there were no vacuum leaks. I'm sending off the modified intake & fuel rail setup to Brian @HiTechMotorsports for testing. I don't have the time to fuck with it anymore....& I'm VERY happy with the power this combo has already put out!
The spike in the A/F is due to the PMS. It can only modify injector pulse-width in 500rpm increments from 2000rpm up. So at 3000rpm the A/F is fine & at 3500rpm it's fine, but for some reason between those 2 points it went lean....so I left the A/F at 3000 & 3500 on the rich side.

Nice numbers Shaun. Is that a different cam then before? Also, didn't it make 421 HP? If so then you gained 21 HP more up top Too bad on the intake i was really interested in the results. I hope to see you and Heather out at Grudge night or Ford vs. Chevy soon.

Thanks Matt. The camshaft is different than before....it's less aggressive & a little larger off the seat....especially on the exhaust side. (15 degrees larger @.006). It last put down 421/388 Rear Wheel on ForcedFed's *dyno dynamics* dynometer, which is a load bearing dyno. The new #'s are on a dynojet 224. Who's to say whether or not it really gained anything.....that'll be decided at the track....hopefully pretty soon! I'd like to make a run or 2 at the Norcal-LS1 event.. & Ideally get some seat time between now & then. [ March 31, 2006, 10:27 PM: Message edited by: 93PONY ]

now that it has realiable transmission, hopefully it will be faster. If that doesnt do it, we can alway put some bigger heads we have laying around, or better cam.

Maybe you can convert it to EFI so that its in the same ball park as these mild mannered, hydro roller street cars you compare it to ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

that is the plan if a turbo goes on. even if we did, I am sure people would still complain that it has a carb style intake. And it is MUCH milder than most combos.
