Pistols can be good for sub 2" groups at 25yds, 90% of people couldn't keep a 10" group at 20 feet. Buy whatever fits your price, read, practice, dry fire. It doesn't matter the caliber or if it is semi/revolver.
I pretty much only shoot my S&W 327pd 8 shot .357 revolver now. It just punches holes over and over again and will hit a 12" square at 100yds. [ October 07, 2010, 01:49 PM: Message edited by: gray03gt ]

FN-five seven, Very nice weapon! I would not use it for home defense cause you can easily send a round thru the wall killing little becky next door or someone in the next room.
