my boy just changed the his clutch cable and the pedal is extremely hard. Do you think that it could be the quadrant, fork, or the clutch itself. It's also grinds when putting into gear. Also it has a oem clutch cable & quadrant. Lmk

Didn't align things during the install....and or has the cable routed incorrectly!

lift up on the clutch pedal and stamp it back to the floor a couple times, you need to reset the adjuster on the stock quad whenever you change anything.

theres your first mistake....and it will cost you another clutch in as little as a week ( i smoked one in a day)
you need to remove the 30 yr old plastic junk that has dry rotted and replace with good aluminum quadrant
adjust it correctly...it should start to engage about a inch off the floor

Yeah I know! That's what I told him I just wanted to make sure to see if their was something that could be done before I have him spend more money. Thanks!
