Using an innovate wideband for datalogging is another less expensive option.

Installs in minutes using Plug & Play technology - no wiring necessary! Start-up calibrations included Live help window eases tuning process Set-up Wizard creates a custom base map for your car System is fully enabled - Never pay for upgrades! Free software updates on aempower.com Uses all the factory sensors Runs on Windows compatible software Fuel table automapping Programmable traction control Onboard 512kb datalogger Up to 10 cylinder sequential fuel injection 16 general-purpose outputs 7 definable switch inputs Electronic boost control Soft cut rev limiters Two step launch control Wet or dry nitrous control Definable knock control Full idle control 4 EGT inputs with fuel control 16/32 hybrid high speed processor
Very nice system to use. There are allot of usable parameters for cold start, idle, drivability, etc... When tuned properly the car will genarally run as good or better than stock.
It also does have the options to add LS1 or LS2 coil packs for better spark and individual cylinder ignition trims. The fuel is already fully sequential so you can already do individual cylinder fuel trims based on manifold flow etc..
I have used this sytem on a Turbo Fox with good results and on my own 6 cylinder toyota engines. I was able to run a decent quarter on a basically stock toyota engine with some supporting mods ( fuel and turbo).
I purchased this unit with intentions on installing a turbo on my stock 89 coupe, but the engine had some issues so I pulled the engine and trans. I am no longer going with a ford engine, so I dont have any use for this system anymore.
If you have any more questions feel free to call me at 707-888-6856 or PM me. I am not on this forum every day, so the best way to contact me is by phone.

Contact the tuner that you plan to use. See what they are most familiar with. Buy that.

Once my build is together I plan on buying an innovate lc1 wideband to datalog and watch my afr's. Then I'll adjust my fuel pressure regulator for optimal afr's@wot. This should yield a little bit of horsepower and ensure the car runs liks it should. I havent figured out the next step yet, but I've heard a lot of good things about the tweecer so far. I have a diablosport trinity that i use for tuning in my SRT-4 and it's great, but for obdII only

So thats great for wide open or idle but how will you address part throttle if that is a concern?
