Originally posted by 66Str86: [QB] Hey Everybody! There's been a lot of progress from my last post. So far I have: -1989 302 5.0 H.O. engine (used) -Ron Morris Performance Efi conversion wiring harness -SSBC front power disc brake package -TCP front coil over conversion -1967 front spindles & front end (used) -2006 Foose Nitrous 17x8 rims & tires -SSBC rear power disc brake package (to be ordered) My latest question is what rear end to go with? My car is originally a 1966 coupe 6 cylinder, but I am not sure what size my original rear end is. Is it a 6" or an 8"??? If it's already an eight inch I know the answer to my own question. But if it's a 6 inch rear end, then I need to know where anyone can recommend purchasing a used 8" rear end full assembly with axles & 3.55 gears?????? I've already priced out a new Currie rear end assembly and it will cost me about $2,400! Also...does anyone know where to get a decently priced rear coil over conversion besides TCP? I hope someone can help me. Thanks! [/QB]
