Paxtons require an oil feed and return line. If you are looking for a self contained blower then you should get a Powerdyne or Pro Charger.

Do not get a Paxton SN series OR Powerdyne kit. The Vortech A trim kit must be tapped into the oil pan which ANYONE can do, I did it lol, and will last a long long time.

nothin wrong with vortech, but its kinda played out, not everyone has the pleasure to own a self contained, intercooled procharger.....

for 86-93 5.0 the 9-14psi procharger p1sc kit, cheapest i found it was $3469.99 at gtrhipo.com but their site is down.....i got the price from my 5.0 mustang magazine
i havent found a place that will beat that price....
normally at least $3800-$4000 at other places
so $3500 is pretty good..... still maybe a bit pricey but well worth it

I agree that it probably the most common forced induction but for good reason. There is a old saying that sum's it up "don't fix it if it aint broke." They are a proven performer and the S trim is just about perfect match for a stock block 5.0 cause wheather You just want to slap one on a stock engine and roll with 300 rwhp or pulley them up on HCI stock block and take em to the limit's at 550+ rwhp they can do it too. Tell Him not to worry about tapping the pan as other's have said it's a cake walk and You tap it above where the oil sit's in the pan so there is realitivly no risk of messing it up or it leaking.
