Originally posted by WHYT LIE: [QB]
Originally posted by Yellow94GT: [qb] Hey Brian those rules look just fine to me. I'm sure we will be hearing what everyone else thinks here shortly. :patriot: [/qb]
Thanks, hopefully there are more happy people then upset people.
Originally posted by GM GOD: [qb] het what if im in the stroker no power adder class but i have srtipped interior. do i stay in the same class? [/qb]
How stripped are we talking? The rules are going to reflect a stock "appearing" interior, or maybe just require a covered interior with no bare metal showing. And if people do have bare metal showing or non stock appearing interior, then I guess they will get bumped a class. Can anyone come up with another fair way to handle this?
Originally posted by FoX GT: [qb] where would a whippled 03 cobra go? [/qb]
Just looking at the rules it would seem fair to lump those of you '03/'04 Cobra's with Kenny Bell (and therefore whippled) into the Stock Motor + Power Adder (if the motor is stock.) Does that sound fair, or would those cars dominate that class? Would Stroker Motor + Power Adder be more fair for those cars?
Originally posted by 50 Deep: [qb] Man im in that 1. what else do i need to bring besides my car? is there any fee? or somewhere i have to sign up at? [/qb]
We are still working out the details, but it should be $55 for car and driver and $10 for spectators. We'll have the track open about 8:00-9:00am for setup and start racing at 10:00am, and stop racing at 5:00pm. If we get done with the racing/brackets/heads up/etc then we'll open the track to grudge style racing until the track shuts us down!!! Just bring your car (be prepared for a tech inspection, no leaking oil or coolant), your helmet (if you are 13.99 or faster) long pants, closed toe shoes (no sandals), money for entrance and whatever else you need. No need to sign up early. Although in the future we hope to have an online early sign up page where you can prepay as well.
Originally posted by PRIMERED COUPE: [qb] WELL YOU CAN COUNT ON ME BEING THEIR :D SO WHATS THE COST, AND THE PAY OFF, PER EACH CLASS [/qb]
Costs were covered in my above Quote, but it doesn't hurt to restate them. $55 for car and driver $10 for spectators (in other words, $45 per car and $10 per person.) And $20 per additional class you want to enter.
Originally posted by Team SOLO: [qb] Need clarification...Outlaw says 'anything EFI' but in the bolded statement it states Outlaw is exempt from this. Please confirm. I would like to run Outlaw with my coupe if possible. If not, is there going to be a TNT lane that I could squeeze into? Greg [/qb]
The "exempt" bit was about the " vehicles originally equipped with EFI motors. Plain and simple, late model iron only." So, this would exlude a '65 mustang with a 5.0 in it. But that '65 Mustang with a 5.0 in it would be allowed in OUTLAW, as well as a Dart block with Accel Gen VII in it, or any other EFI variation... Clear as mud now? ;) [/QB]
