[/qb][/QUOTE]Depending on how thick the aluminum is it helps to make a couple pre heating runs down the joint to be welded. I don't usually round the tungsten over before I start welding. Also I use one size bigger tungsten than I would if it were steel and I get a really sharp point on it.. This keeps the ball on the tip of the tungsten smaller which keeps the arc tighter and less likely to wander! Sick car!!
