Meaning, people with [i]no prior knowledge or vested interest[/i] in the case. What you suggest is the exact opposite of that. The job of a juror is to hear and see the [i]evidence[/i] of the case as presented by the prosecution and defense, and make an informed, unbiased decision. How can a juror do that if the case directly impacts their neighborhood and/or family? [/QB][/QUOTE]
