Originally posted by MikeD.: [qb] Just seeing if anyone here does any kind of investing? I was looking into it, but I dont know how things work, and I know with times like these, I am unsure its even the best idea. I don't have much money to invest, about 2gs, which will probably get laughs being its such a small amount. But I was hoping theres someone on here that may be able to put in the right direction. Hopefully before I blow this extra cash on parts lol. Thanks! [/qb]
Mike, Stock market is the place to be, I started about 6 month ago and man it has been amazing. Yes the market is kind of scary but overall I'm happy with my portfolio and the profit I have make. 2K is a great start to buy stocks, but your first lesson is to diversify your portfolio (basically don't put all your money in one company). This way if one stock goes down, you have others to even the loss. Here are some good stock (these are some stocks that I own, please do your own research on them) EW - little expansive but they have a product at the FDA, when it gets approved, it will go through the roof NVE - Nevada Energy CVS - F - FORD :-) Good luck and Pm me if you need help setting up an account and getting started.
