Got em for free from a renovation. [/qb]
X2 on the T8 strips. I put 3 8' fixtures and a 2 prong switch. First switch turns on a horizontal light 4' from the garage bulkhead wall and the other turns on two in-line fixtures 4' from the side walls. Ive had them since the house was new (14 yrs) and just had a bulb go out! I'm really surprised you don't see more of these considering the energy savings over conventional fluorescents. [/qb]
[/qb]
T5 are way better [/qb]
Not familiar. Its been awhile since i did mine but i was impressed with the T8 single prong bulbs being half the wattage of typical fluorescent bulbs. Are the T5's a smaller diameter bulb also? [/QB]
