I wanted to clean and paint my engine compartment I marked all the plugs and so I knew were to plug them back into. I put everything back together and went to start it up and it wouldn't start so I turn the key off and the engine kept turning over so I unhook the battery to turn the car off.i hax solenoid hooked up wrong, so I go and buy a new one just to be safe, I hook it up and go to start the car and have no spark. I bought a new coil and the tfi module and still no luck. Get power to the coil and checked to see if I had power to the injectors and it reads 0.03volts.checked all tbhe fuse able links and all was good.and I also put a knew ignition in it also.

Stator inside the dist?

Have you tried taking a spark plug wire and plug out and cranking over the car and seeing if the plug is getting actual spark? Touching it to bare metal while cranking?

What city are you in?

I wouldn't say computer that easy. I would say the stator (pip) inside the distributer is out. I have a few extra but I'm in sac

You hooked something up improperly on the starter solenoid or it's stuck closed making consistent contact but that would not be a problem if your coil wasn't getting constant voltage

I don't think they sell dist. Rebuild kits anymore. But if you can find one let me know. My MSD dist needs a rebuild.

They sell the pickups online i think latemodelresto had them if i remember right. Been a minute since i seen them but they are out there on the internet. I have seen the motorcraft ones around too.

Do you have someone elses distributor you can use to test? Just mark the position of the old one and put the other one in the same exact position.

Then test and see if you have spark while cranking by removing a plug and letting the threads sit on a a grounded metal part of the chassis/engine.
