Topic: need help plz read..

I have a 1995 mustang gt just got my motor done and it has a couple of hp parts.
Problem I'm having is that when I drive off and coast n then come to a stop my rpms go down to and stay at 1500 rpm until I stop completely or in neutral instead of going alway the way down when its in neutral or when I have the clutch down.
And I have a tune done recently at nexgen and they got it to idel n run pretty good n got a lot out of my car but can't figure out why the 1500 rpms sticks?
If any 1 has experenced this or if some 1 knows exactly what's going on here plz message me thanks

was this car originally an automatic transmission?
