on a 2000 GT. when driving for about 45 min or longer, its EXTREMELY HARD to get into 1st gear or reverse at stops. whats going on? note: replaced tranny fluid, and clutch is fairly new. [ October 09, 2008, 01:54 AM: Message edited by: exchp6400 ]

stretched clutch cable maybe needs adjusting..or it could be the pilot or throwout bearing

it could be your clutch cable getting too hot and stretching, it is a possibility that can happen.

same prob changed clutch cable and problem solved

I DONT THINK U NEED A NEW CABLE JUST ADJUST IF U ALREADY HAVE THE ADJUSTABLE 1

sounds like the cable...same thing happened to me too...adjusted it and problem was solved...but my cable eventually snapped lol
