its gonna cost just about the same to just buy a kit.you need timing cover, accessory pullies, lower intake, heat exchanger, aux. water pump, wiring harness, comp, thats just some of it.the only way this swap is affordable is if you found a terminator guy going turbo.usually they just wanna trade for your stock parts but yours isnt 99-04 so that might make the trade more difficult.i got an 03 mach and lucked out on some stuff but had to go to ford for some of it and you dont want to know how much that cost. The 96-98 'B' heads will not work with the 03/04 Cobra intake. You must swap them over to 99+ Cobra heads.
You're also going to have to remove the knock sensors & possibly grind down the bosses to get the intercooled mainfold to fit. [ December 29, 2006, 10:28 PM: Message edited by: 93PONY ]

On a 96-98 Cobra there is even more involved in the swap.
Notice the difference? 96-98 'B' heads:
99+ heads:

someone on SVt performance made an adapter plate to fit a lighting blower on a 96-98 cobra. It ended up working but he's now got a blower sticking out of his hood.. he was in the process of coming out with a plate for the 03 eaton, but i believe he's going through a divorce so the project has been delayed. Damn women

The problem with the KB kits for 'B' headed Cobra's is they don't have an intercooler. A KB without an intercooler is asking for trouble. 200+ degree intake temps....add pump gas & you'll end up spending a lot more $$$ than you bargined for.
