Went out to Sac Raceway tonight & got a new best in the 91 coupe... 12.31 @109.8 mph with a 1.74 60 ft...
I gained over 2 mph & dropped over 2 tenths off my ET with nothing changed other than installing an AFM 4" power pipe & removing the passenger seat. The car has more in it, but I had a string of bad runs where I was either missing shifts or screwing up my launch. But I am pretty juiced & the car is running beyond my expectations...

Yes I know my reaction time is horrible, but I'm still perfecting my launch rpm, so after I figure that out, I will work on reaction time...

Thanks bro... I just wish I hadn't missed 3rd on my last 2 runs, I think I would've hit a 12.20...

Yea that's some good times u trapped..lol yea hopefully me and dale get his heads on my car soon and Pullies shorter belt take out the ac and smog pump I should be low 13s or even 12.9

Talon, thanks bro... Honestly my suspension setup sucks for the 1320. I have Bilstien HD's with MM 325# front coilovers with eibach sportline rears. Everything else is 100% stock. No weight transfer at all, thus the 1.74 sixty ft....

There should be another 0.1 in 60ft in there and 12.1X could be possible.
My car with lowering springs and stock motor was doing 1.69-1.75 consistently with the stock motor leaving off the limiter on slicks.

Heres a Video... I can still tell that I short shifted accidentally on the 1-2 shift, & man I need a better shifter, this MGW is making it difficult to shift fast... Man I sounded like Terrance on the 1-2 shift LOL... If the car is running 12.31 with me short shifting, & generally shifting slower than I should, imagine what it will run with those improvements & a 1.6X 60ft?
Thanks Luke & camara... There is a lot of room for improvement, but I see this car pulling a 12.2X @110 in its current trim before the blower goes on...

Dustin, are you doing 1st or 2nd gear burnouts?
I recommend rolling through the water box, putting it in 2nd, taching up to 4.5K, dump the clutch, and roast them until you see a few seconds of smoke.
And ya, sounds like you had time to make a Subway cold cut combo between that 1-2 shift
