Kieth at ffp don't like mod motors too much. While talking to him one day while he was filling some of my nitrous bottles he claimed sbf, and lsx motors are only type he prefers to work on,.to all others.
But that was about 4 years ago.

Good info. I'm leaning tps. I spoke with AED and didn't like their attitudes. Anyone from here have first hand exp with tps?

U prob didnt like AED's attitude cause there constantly dealing with newbs who ask pointless multiple questions and never end up bringing there car for a tune or to get worked on anyway,ya that would get to me too considering the high end shit they build and tune daily yet still have to answer phone calls to guys who need a JLT intake installed with a handheld tune lol there the top dogs in the game and I wouldn't go anywhere else in my o2..wouldn't u have AEDtude' if u were in there shoes? Lol

You would still think that they would be proffesional about things and actually talk to customers with manners... They can be the "Big Dawgs" but what good is that if the way they carry themselves and business is as of what the OP said?

I'm not saying there buisness side of things is bad at all there very stand up and proffesional in everyway, shit look how they pull up on raceday at the track alone lol, there very about AED and there success and all are good dudes who handle what they need to and do it well, but when u get huge amounts of emails, phone calls and walk ups for guys needing a bbk intake or pulleys installed (we can go all day lol) u tend to develop an attitude and when you are the big dogs YES u can pick an choose jobs and when/what you wanna work on,they've earned it! Same goes for my old man,he builds high end hotrods for a living, and when a nickle can hold up a dollar so easily now a days and ur in the position like these big shops and techs are u can have attitude and still be proffesional and a buisness man,not everyone is McDonald's and here to serve every persons needs.. I'm not sure how either Drew or I was unprofessional in our conversation. (Not sure if you talked to me or Drew), but we only work with certain setups. The #1 way we piss customers off is by telling them we won't tune on pump gas over 15psi.
I apologize if we came off as unprofessional. We strive to provide the best possible product (in this case tune) and sometimes that means telling the customer to change parts/setups to meet their goals. [ 2013-04-22, 12:35 PM: Message edited by: 93PONY ]

Nothing serious, you guys run a great operation. I felt like I should look elsewhere after I was questioned if I wanted to keep the KB after being informed how much it could make on a whipple. I thought maybe you didn't want to work on the car if it had a KB. If you guys were to tune the car I would follow all requests as far as fuel and what not. Thanks for the reply.

I've heard nothing bad from AED for finished projects, although I have a friend who decided not to go there based on "attitude"...not saying I agree with that just my personal experiences... or if you want a good drive TMS in Washington is awesome. I know the guys over there and they're great.

Ah yes, I remember talking to you.
Hard to beat a Whipple 2.9L that we routeenly get 610-620RW on 15psi and pump gas (3.75" pulley). No KB I've ever done has come close with the same boost level. Closest one was a Liquid Cooled 2.8H at 18psi and Pump/race gas mix. Made within 5hp of a similar combo 15psi Whipple 2.9L and straight 91.
For tuning it does not matter to me what you run, just giving you a heads up on what to expect so you don't leave the shop disapointed in the numbers.
