That's why I'm working on hooking my a/c back up. I tired of becoming one with my black vinyl seats.

Live in the Bay Area (the Bay Area is a city that actually touches the Bay's water). It don't get too hot generally.

It's not easy, i agree, but in my cars I had to remove the AC to keep the motors from overheating (not to gain HP). 347 strokers make a lot of heat. So I would say it's worth it to have all that torque, even though I have to suffer in the heat. But at least my motors aren't suffering.
Just wish I could think of a way to mount the AC heat exchanger somewhere else instead of in front of the radiator, so it won't compete with engine cooling.

Maybe. I can't figure it out. I have 3 mustangs with 347s, they all run hot. What radiator are you using? I have 4 row copper in all mine. The funny thing is, my truck has a big ass 460ci motor and a plain old aluminum radiator, and it never gets hot even with teh AC at full blast pulling my trailer.
