Wont agree to Olympic style drug testing but will agree to 10 million for every pound over the 147lb limit. Both terms are equally unheard of. But I would think the drug test would be an easy hurdle. I say if he dont test he is a doper.

hope he (pac) agrees to testing, what was it 48 hrs before the fight. if he agrees it will be an even playing field in the minds for both fighters and the fans.

I agree but the reason they are citing is because of superstition and because manny is scared of needles and bullshit like that. I believe all top crust athletes should be subjected to Olympic style testing. I think if he doesn't do it, he is hiding something.

If you read ther espn article Manny and his trainer agreed to the testing when it was first put into the contract. Now all of a sudden manny is "scared of needles"? ![[Roll Eyes]](rolleyes.gif) smells like Bullshit to me. Manny must be hiding something! Floyd agreed to all his stipulations and now he refuses this? Floyd can still make an easy 15 million by waiting on the winner of the Moseley vs Berto Fight. Either way it will be "easy work"

I think the reason he doesn't want the drug testing is the cycling of the PEDs...He said he would agree to be tested before training and after the fight, but not during training...He wants the urine type test...Doesn't look right for the Pacquiao camp...They will spin it the Mayweather is scared, but who is really scared?...take the test!

yea Olympic testing is more rigorous and tests for more stuff. I always figured he was taking something. I wouldnt go as far as steriods, but I am firm he is taking something that would be considered a banned substance. They are already trying to spin this as harassment by Floyd. But 10 million per pound over 147 is pure harassment if you ask me. Manny I hate to say it is a fuckin low-life as cheater. Always trying to pigeon hole and advantage for himself. I am losing respect for him fast.

What bothers me is that he is trying to stipulate when he wants to be tested...If you are clean it doesn't matter when your tested...Also the superstition and harassment spin on this is very comical and really cheap...I smell Margarito situation all over again...If it is true I feel bas for Cotto...

with all that said it seems to me like this is only a tactic being used to try to get into Pacman's skin, a ploy to sike him out! Las Vegas has been testing all the major fights, so why this? and why now? he didnt do this with his last fight, which was supposedly bigger than this! how is he cheating if he agrees to test after the fight?!

when i have blood drawn @stanford, i get light headed as *uck afterwords and my arm is hella soar the nextday....manny wants to take the test afterwords well that says it all..it should be fine then..let the fight begin!! btw im not a fan of manny but i would like to see him fight floyd just because of that fact there is so much crap talking on the both sides and umm actually the whole world haha....manny has lost my respect as a person when i first started seeing all these corrupt politicians in the ring and outside with him and sitting ringside..now he is trying to become involved with politics which is totally stupid in my opinion..

I have always given him respect. He lines em up and knocks em down. But... there is always this business of match weights and to the casual fan of boxing they do not understand how unfair that is. Also they never advertise publicly how his opponents are handicapped by that stipulation. Now that someone is reversing some adversity on his ass, he wants to back out. I guess you can say I am a bigger fan boxing than I am either man actually. And for the record I am not a huge fan of mayweather either, because overall he is not great for boxing. He fights for checks, not respect. Which is why it appears he ducks folks. When in fact he is ducking their lack of drawing power.
If Manny doesnt accept the testing, he is a cheating bastard. No other way to put this. It is a damn well documented process and it is thorough. It can trace substances in blood from great distances back. so a bad test could make it bad for some past fights. I really didnt think a drug test would raise so many eyebrows on their side. Hell Floyd agreed to 10 MILLION PER POUND OVER 147. NOW THAT IS UNHEARD OF.

In the ESPN cast, they talked about how Manny is willing to have blood tests before the press conference and DIRECTLY after the fight...
That sounds good enough to me...
Since the Olympic style testing is random, I wouldn't want a needle in my arm at 4AM on fight-night either...
If he was taking something EVER, a blood test before the press conference AND after the fight will suffice.
So the question is, why won't Mayweather let them take a blood test as Manny agrees to?

I seems like alot of people here are just hating on Floyd cause they think he is an asshole (which he is lol!) but, Does anyone remember when Moseley was accused of taking PED's? If you noticed he never tested positive for anything before or after he fougth De la Hoya. It was not until Balco got raided that the accusations arose that he was on roids. If Moseley could so easily get away with being on roids a few years back. What is to say that Pacman has not been getting away with the same thing? Floyd is willing to submit to the same tests. So it's a level playing field. Manny could go through a cylce of roids. during training and take be clean by the time the piss test comes. BECAUSE HE KNOWS WHEN HE HAS TO TAKE IT! The whole being scared of needles stuff is Bullshit! if that were true, Why does the hell does he have TATTOOS! Open your eyes and see this for what it really is!
