Whats a respectable time around sonoma raceway? Fox or sn95 with basically a mild suspension set up an a decent set of tires?

That's a pretty broad question actually.
-From an experienced driver or a first timer?
-Which track configuration are you talking about?
-Does this car have any decent braking? Brakes could be gone in one lap.
-Are you talking about consistent laps or all out fast lap to try and make a best time in this car?

The IRL track. Not sure if that what the layouts called. And got a mild amount of track time, but I can find my way around pretty well. An with like a set of drilled an slotted rotors, and a decent set of pads. Over like 10 -12 laps

I've been able to break 2:00's in my car using my GoPro videos and a stop watch (not all that accurate but its close enough I guess). I'm not sure if thats considered "fast," but I feel its "respectable" [Confused]

My car is a full weight 98 cobra (all interior and accessories still in place) + additional weight from a Saleen body kit, 4-pt roll bar, etc. Bare stock motor with a catback and catted x-pipe. Full MM suspension, stock cobra brakes on Hawk race pads, and 17" street tires (Bridgestone RE01R).

I'm hoping to break into the mid-high 1:50's next season with some minor weight reduction and slicks. This was my 2nd season open tracking (12 trackdays total).

Between 2 and 2:05 isn't bad for the car your talking about. Get a foundation and then see how you progress throughout the year.
