hi ive been intrested in track racing and wanted to build a track car i have a 86 coupe stock
what shocks springs set up should i use ?
what else can use or change i know its a lot more then shocks and springs. but what about brands? lowring 2inches or 1.5?

Well if its going to be deticated track car, or you have money to afford it, I would go with the MM coilover kit. Some Koni Yellow dbl. adjustable shocks and struts, good starting ground is a 450-475lb. Springs front and back. LCA's. Get good ones. Basically you are looking to stiffen up the car dramatically. Good SFC's, STB. I recommend kind of a beefy LCA, I have bent a set open tracking my car, knocked my rearend out of alignment by 1 inch. Things to think about are also replacing old bushings. Any slop is bad. Also if you can't afford the Koni's, and are more budgeted, the Tokico Illumina's actually work pretty good.
