My car has a Moroso 7qt road race oil pan and has the dipstick tube connected to the pan but there is no dipstick. Does anyone know what dipstick will work for this setup? It is a 302.

Thanks!

Measure the length of the dipstick tube above the oil pan and measure how far above the bottom of the oil pan dipstick tube enters the pan. That would be the maximum dipstick length (probably around 28").

I would think that almost any (pan mounted) dipstick would work. It just needs to be long enough to reach into the oil but not too long that it hits the bottom of the pan. You can always trim some length off a dipstick so it doesn't bottom out.

In any case, don't trust the add/full markings. Double check those or add new ones to the dipstick.
