After installing an electric fan with a temp probe that activates the fan at a certain temperature I'm kind of lost if I have it in the right spot. I have a stock radiator and the probe is placed through the front of the radiator pointing TOWARDS the engine. I have this inserted about 5in' above the bottom hose on the radiator. Is this the correct location for the probe????

I installed a flexalite one.... and the instructions say to install it about 1" from the inlet hose(installed mine right next to it), with the it facing out towards the bumper leaving 1/4" of the probe protruding.

You might want to install it by the upper hose [Big Grin]
