im going to be buying a block out of a fox pretty soon to have rebuilt them put into my DD, i have nooo idea how much i should be looking to spend i would like a few upgrades with the rebuild (.30 over stock heads ported upgraded springs an a cam) how much you think a little set up like this will run me? an any good shops near merced/fresno/modesto

800-1500 give or take a few hundred in either direction.

ok thats no to to bad, is that a good set up a e303 cam an the stock heads ported?

gt40 or gt40p's would be alot better with that cam. i wouldnt waste the time with e7's. i was planning on running them for a while till i got a valve job on my P's, but ended up just getting it done now.

im building my motor rite now, with a e303, ported gt40p's and a eddy rpm intake. should be a decent runner.

GT-40P heads , B303 cam and an Explorer intake on a stock bottom end 302 and other bolt ons can you into the high 12's low 13's in a decently modded fox.

Ok I might go with that depending on funds, I mean I'm not trying to have a track car this will be my DD but hey why not right...thanks for the input guys

dont forget to hupgrade the valve springs. coil bind is a bitch [Wink]

E7 heads are ok once they are ported i have ported e7 heads and a trick flow stage one cam with the trick flow cam with 3.08s and running 13.3
