so i have a question the car will be getting a gt40 explorer setup with a 65 mm tb should i get a egr spacer or delete the egr
any pros and cons, if so im going to need to by one any info on which one is good

If emissions is a concern for you then I would run an EGR.

not really since it just passed smog

With an inoperative or missing EGR you will not pass emissions, so I am assuming that you have to pass every other year. It's not like if you delete it you're going to pick up a massive amount of power.

you will not gain any hp from deleting the egr. you will lose some mpg. save your self the headache in a few years and put it on.

One of the guys on here just got reffed for no EGR.... not worth it imo

I have done extensive dyno and track testing with regards to the following:
Deleting cats
x vs h pipe
Long tube vs. Short runner headers
Deleting EGR
Deleting Smog pump
Underdrive pulleys
Mass Air meters (all brands).
I can tell you the worst idea is to delete the egr without a tune to compensate. Removing it kills part throttle performance and in many cases creates a hot start issue. No WOT performance gain at all.
