I have a '90 Mustang 5.0 and want to put in a newer and safer 3g alternator. I already am putting in the newer perm magnet starter and want to upgrade the alternator as well. What is needed?
Thanks,

No not necessary. If you have longtubes then you'll endup roasting the starter sooner than later, heat staturation. Get a thermoshield from summit and call it a day.

some wire connectors, and very lil grinding on the bracket to fit, nice upgrade. it don't mess with nothing else besides to charge your battery
