Topic: V8 auto tans in a 4cyl? Direct swap?

Tranny went out in my 4 cyl. Can I put a auto from a v8 in the car? Is it a direct swap? Will it change the driveability of the car? Any thing else I should know?

won't bolt up. bellhousing bolt patterns are different.
