Long story so here it goes. Since Ive bought my car Ive had a really still clutch pedal. I realized that the clutch cable was resting on the headers and the heat caused the cable plastic to melt. Well I went and installed a new ford OEM cable. I thought I had it adjusted good and everything. Drove for two days with no problems. Today as im driving around I notice that as im trying to shift gears I almost have to pull the shifter with all my might to get it to go into gear. So I make a u-turn and try to go home. As im nearing my place at a stop light I push in the clutch pedal and hear a loud pop. After the pop I cant get the car into gear. It doesnt look like the cable is broken or anything. Im wondering if it could be the clutch qudrant? Hopefully I didnt break any metal or anything.

Everything I have now is stock. The clutch however is a spec.

the stock clutch quadrent is plastic, with a stiff pedal you may have weakened it.
