I went to start my 88 GT today and it wouldn't turn over, it cranks but thats it (I know it's hard to believe but I do have gas in it). I'm accustomed to hearing the loud ass fuel pump wine when I turn the key forward, but I did not hear it. I'm pretty sure it's not fuel pump it self b/c it's only a cupel of months old. Q. Is that green/black box under the drivers seat a fuze for the fuel pump? If so, from my description could this be my problem? Last, do I have to buy this part for Ford or can I get it from the local auto parts store, thanks guys.

The deal under the seat is a fuel pump relay.Ill give you one when your down this way,I have quite a few.Although that one was replaced in August and I dont see that being the problem. That pump that was installed wasnt new the tank/pump was swapped for another one that was working from another car.It POSSIBLE it finally took a shit
Lemme know one way or the other well get it going!

I have a stock fuel pump out of my 89 lx that looks new. Had no issues when pulled...just wanted to upgrade to a 255. You can have it if needed.
