Pypes Perf. Exhaust catalytic converter, available in 2.5" and 3" diameter...i want these to hook up to a Bassani X-pipe, which doesnt have cats...the Bassani is 2.5" in diam....will i be able to cut the stock H-pipe head pipe section (before the first cats) and have them welded to the cats, then have the bassani welded?...anyone weld on here for cheap?

Why not just buy a cat'd x-pipe used off this site? It would probably be cheaper than buying and welding in the cats.
Also, you may have fitment issues unless you can maintain the same length.
