Someone recommended getting a BYPASS VALVE for my Paxton so engine breaths alot safely..

Where would i find these bypass valves? They screw into the charger intake tube right? Any specific size?

Thanks
Dave

Dave, If your only pulling like 2-3 psi like you mentioned you don't need the bypass valve. These valves come in kits offering 8 psi or better. At your level it isn't necessary. If you really want one you can pick them up sometime on ebay or contact vortech and they can send you one

I would be shocked if the compressor you have was pulling 7-8 psi. The max I have seen from that compressor with the smallest pulley and a power pipe is about 6-7 psi. You need a boost gauge to know where you are at now.

The bosch valve that comes with the base S-trim kit is a 103 (good for 6-8psi), the 110 is good up to 15psi (has brass internals instead of plastic) and is what I and alot of others run instead of spending 180 bucks or whatever for Vortechs pretty race and mondo valves. I bought my 110 for 35 bucks, but I just found acheaper place, take a look. Exact same valves...
