Thier are 3 wires on my O2 Sensor, one black, and two whites. Does anyone know what wire I tap in to on the O2 sensor?

I taped into one of the whites on the O2, the gauge works But only shows one bar and doen't go from lean to rich (up and down). What an I doing wrong [Confused]

first i dont think you are supposed to go directly to the o2 sensor. you need to go tothe harness from the car. disconnect it from the sensor and pull it up under the hood so you can c it better. there should be three prongs on the end. ..
. < it should look like that. you need to tap into the wire that is by itself. i think it is lime green. take it out of the right o2

keep in mind that this is basically just a light show and not accurate. So when you get it all in and done, and it's bouncing all over the damn place....just remember that your car is just fine [Wink]
