Author Topic: The 331 combo is all done... Thanks Shaun twisted54 ¯ Member # 1981 posted                                 Now it just needs to get tuned. I can't wait to see what the hp and tq numbers are gonna be. I have an appt. at Dyno Labs on Thursday then hopefully I can get back to Sac for some 1/4 runs by mid May. Thanks Shaun (93pony) for doing the great job on my cam and upper intake as well as the great suggestions. It runs much better than before and never stalls when going into gear. Here is my new combo: 331 w/all Forged Internals TFS Track Heat Intake TFS Twisted Wedge Heads Comp Cam XE274HR 1.6 RRs Bassani o/r X BBK Headers Spintech Prostreets 24lbs Injectors 190l Fuel Pump 4.10s PI 3000 Transgo Shift Kit K&N FIPK w/C&L TrueFlow Inlet Pipe 75mm Pro M 75mm BBK Throttle Body FMS Aluminum Drive Shaft ASP Pulleys Mid 12s here I come... The compression is 10:1. 325 rwhp would be nice. I'm thinking the main reason for the crappy numbers was the street heat intake with the long runners. My hp peaked at only 5400rpms (rating on the intake was idle to 5500rpms). Keep us posted on the dyno/track results. I'm hoping that intake is comparable to the Edelbrock RPM.
