Author Topic: hood pins? cobraman_1994 ¯ Member # 467 posted                              well, the cowl hood for my 86 is pin on. i have these moroso hood pins i got from summit a while ago. are they any good? if so, 2 is all i need correct? i was just goign to use the stock latches in the back so its not a lift off hood, or should i make it one? -------------------- 86 GT Posts: 4882 | From: eldorado hills | Registered: Sep 2001  |  : mtbaughs Road Racer Member # 4052 posted                              If the hood is a pin on it almost always takes a pin on all 4 corners -------------------- R.I.P. What I did was used four pins. I put two in the back through the latches and two in the front where the radiator support is. I could use it as a full lift off if I needed to or I could use it as a normal hood with latchs in the back.
