its a T5 z about a year old, fluid changed frequently but now has a cracked tail housing and broke output shaft.

i dont think so but i could be wrong. seems to me the whole tail section could be replaced and ready to do it again.

Did you brake any gears?...

Call D&D Performance 248-735-6220...

You'll probably need a rebuild kit and of course a new output shaft and a tail housing..It will be over $250. in new parts easily.. [Frown]

I've seen T5's at Pick`n`Pull for $250..

If you're not going to rebuild it yourself then it will probably cost you over $750 at any transmission shop to get fixed..

The T5 Z-spec is around $1049-brandnew.

hey thanks,i didnt break any gears that i know of. i already have a new trans in place. the guy i bought my new 3550 from said he would buy my bell and give me something for the broke T5. im just trying to get a figure that i should accept if not ill keep and rebuild it at my leasure.
