Finally, I'm ready to do my 430's. Now.... Where am I to go?

I live in the central valley but commute to the east bay. So, a decent shop in either area would be great!

Thank!

Hell, if you are coming to Santa Clara, get 'em done at the Ranch. I had all my work done there.

Another vote for Rear End specialties. Got the gears installed on my last stang there and once I get some $$$ for the installation, ill be going back.

I noticed you're frrom Manteca. Gearworks in Oakdale does good work and is closer to you than other shops mentioned so far.

I had mine done at rearend specialties in Santa Clara as well, very nice work.

Just a reminder however. If the gears are new you will need a breakin period. I would suggest finding the very closest possible shop to where you live. I live in the east bay and it took me about 40 minutes to get down to santa clara. It took me about 3 1/2 hours to get home following the directions the shop gave me for breaking in the gears

430's!!!!!! I dont really like my 410's becuase i can only go about 110 before my trany starts to burn. Hope you dont do any freeway driving, or if you do, i hope some slow rice that you can smoke doesnt beat you becuase you couldnt go as fast as him.

4.30's are actually a good gear choice for the 4.6 DOHC motor. Got alot more RPM to work with than a regular GT (approx 7000 vs 6000), so the taller gear isnt as bad as it sounds. Alot of the 4.6 guys here have 4.30's, and i havent heard too much complaining about them
