sorry for the late response, but you can buy a harness that converts the 2 coils on the 1996-1998 cobra to 1999+ cobra coils (coil on plugs). the guy makes them for both SOHC and DOHC mustangs

he has sold a lot of them, and never had a problem. I had his kit but the harness sold quick. this is what i have left
