I gotta get this boat out of my garage quick. It was my mother-in-laws (bought it brand new). She gave it to us for some unknown reason and I can't stand it taking up all my space in my garage. I'm reposting it with a new price of $500 to recoup some of the money I had to dump into it to get it smogged and transfered into my name. I'm in Hayward if anyone wants to come look at it. PM me for contact info.
The Good:
- 4.6 V8 runs great. Starts no problems, runs great with lots of power to move this behemoth.
- New EGR valve, tube and DPFE sensor. ($170 worth of parts)
- Tires are good. I'd say at least 45%-50%
- AC blows COLD
- Body is straight (except for wavy front bumper cover)
- Interior is pretty decent other than its just dirty
- Drives great
- Good registration tags, no tickets or back fees.
- If you buy it in the next month, the smog should be covered from when I smogged it.
The Bad:
- Odometer reads 175k and quit working 3k ago
- Front brakes work fine but are warped
- Drivers door will not lock or window will not roll all the way up (other 3 doors work fine). Window stops about 2" short of the top.
- Its leaking coolant. I'm pretty sure it's leaking from the water pump weep hole, so probably needs a new water pump.
- Remote button for gas door is broken, but can open the door through the trunk.
The drip pan is from the Mustang, not the Vic.
