This Thursday July 17th, the City of Pittsburg will be having a car show. There are weekly car shows in Pittsburg but this one is special because the theme of the nite is "Mustang Nite". There are usually about 50 cars+ that come out but I want the Mustangs/Fords to represent!
The car show is located on Railroad Ave. in Old Downtown Pittsburg. I know downtown had a bad rep back in the day but it is really nice now so no need to fear like some people do.
Car show starts from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. There is a live band and there are also a couple good restaurants:
(New Mecca: Mexican, Downtown Cafe: Philly Cheese Steaks/Coffee/Beer, La Veranda: Italian, Dad's BBQ: BBQ/ Fried Chicken(hella good), and a Buffet/Bar around the corner)
So Come on out.
Directions:
Coming from the west, take Highway 4 and exit off on the Railroad Ave exit. Make a left at the light, you are now on Railroad ave heading north. Keep going straight and you're going to pass a big park on your left, and go over a overpass, then you will go under a overpass and you will reach a light. Make a Right at the light onto west 10th street. Make the very first left onto cumberland and follow that all the way to third street. make a left again and you can turn straight up railroad onto where the show is.
You can also google new mecca Cafe and get there the same. Only catch is railroad is getting repaved from 8th street to 5th street.
