No date as of yet. But sometime between now and dec. I'm gonna try to get out to the track this weekend to findout somemore info. But we really need more people to reply and say that they want to do this. There might be 4 pages for this thread but only 15-20 people said they want to do this.

Did you see Bowman qualified with an 8.13 or something nuts like that? It seems like everyone picks up at least a tenth every race.

If I may make a suggestion...How about having the shootout be only for street cars with current registration and have 3 simple catagories. (1) Slicks (2) Drag Radials (3) Street Tires. And, if there are enough entries, a V6 catagory.
If the goal is to find the fastest Mustang, I don't see why my n/a 351 shouldn't go up against a supercharged 4.6 provided neither has a tire advantage.

I would love to do somethink like this. There are 2-5 of us from Monterey that go to the track every month or so. So you can safely count 3 votes.

Me and Matt are down to come up for this one definatly...he bronke ANOTHER tranny (this will be the 5th one) put in the cobra, so we might drive up in the honDUH...and we have some freinds down here that would be interested in coming up to race/watch whatever so count at least 2 more people
