This is my new fastest pass for my car. I was on slicks and skinnies for the first time sence the 347 has been in the car.
I didn't take the time to re-baseline the suspension with the different wheel/tire setup, and I should have. The car didn't hook very well at all. The best 60ft was only a 1.48, which is what the car has done on drag radials...lol
This race was a grudge race against a buddy's 560+ rwhp Synergy built firechicken.

He ended up going 11.33 You can hear in the vid that he had some trouble getting into 4th gear. It didn't matter though. Even if he nailed forth, there is no way he was going to run me down. At the 1/8 my mph was 100.8 and his was 100.5 It was a very close race at that point due to me giving up .1 on the tree.

Very nice, Drew! Maybe the car has a 10.5 in it with the suspension recalibrated...

Haha! After you raced the firebird I asked that dude, "did you like some of that AED Cobra?"....lol
I'm glad that your car is running well.

I think I beat that Firebird as well! He screwed up the video of my run because his car is so damn loud and it was really loud when he was on the limiter when missing 4th.
He had no chance against me though. I had a .026 light to his .508 and a 1.62 60ft to his 1.911. Maybe it was a different Firebird?
I am working on posting some vids.
By the way, that was a sweet pass. I wish I could have gotten "only" a 1.49 60ft. My best was 1.62 lifting twice in 1st.

Drew, the car looks bad ass!
You need to get rid of those white letter though!
What size rear tire is that, and do you need to change gears to offset the difference in size between the slicks and 18" DR's?

I'm kinda a fan of the white letters, but they will be gone the next time out due to being discolored.
As for the tire size, my BFG's are 25.6 inches tall and the MT's have 26x10 ET drags on them. My final drive is only about 4 mph higher with the taller sidewall, so my gearing stayed the same. The car is VERY smooth going down the track with the big and littles, (not that it was bad with the 18's, but I actually caught myself driving with my knee in 4th gear this last time out!). Drew,
Congrats on your new best!
I hit 11.9 @119mph my first time out at the track (about 3 weeks ago) with my current setup and AED tune! (intake/exhaust/pulley/tune)
my trap time tells me that i should be hitting at least 11.7, but shitty Nittos would not let me hook up!
