im dreading this race, but i need the money. this usually turns out to be like the last grudge night of the year, too many people. also if you street guys can't pull .5 reactions all day you stand no chance in the street class. go into trophy if you just want to run for fun. it makes it a helluva lot easier if you don't switch classes for me.

What's the fun in bracket racing?
Bracket racing is for people how have talented driving skills, but not the cash flow to build an all out race car. Instead of cars competing against cars, its driver vs. driver.
I know your going to say that heads up racing takes a lot of driver tallent too, and it does. But lets not kid ourselves, there is a lot more to bracket racing than just cutting a good lite and then "stab and steer" the rest of the way doen the track like in heads up racing.
Basically, cutting a good lite and running on your dail is very challenging and thats what makes it fun [ December 29, 2003, 04:16 PM: Message edited by: Yellow94GT ]

bracket racing is about consistency. If you're all over inside the 12's all day you won't go anywhere, but if you can take your car down the track at 12.5 every single time then you are legit. It's all about the driver and how consistent they are. I think the perfect bracket car would be a bone stock automatic.
