Well, Last day of the week and Amtrak is finally close enough to being on time that I can go and buy some used American Racer G60's. They aren't as soft a sidewall as my previous non-DOT set, but they have a LOT of tread left. I was told that after one nights use they get pulled. How does $20 each, sound? Hopefuly I can see some low 1.7's...
How are you doing, Joe, Gonna Make it?

I assume you're having fun right now
I lost the battle to a cross-threaded #2 header.
everything and I mean *everything* was done @ 4:30 AM and I was just going between the H-pipe, the tailpipes, and the headers to cinch everything down (don't ask, MAC 4-flange headers SUCK) and the #2 primary was not going on straight.
I was looking at pulling the passenger header completely off, chasing/tapping the threads for #2 and bolting it all back on again. My estimate for that job was 2 hours so I gave up I'll get some ET's at Sears monday cause I can't wait! [ January 18, 2003, 12:46 PM: Message edited by: shade-tree ]

With the amount of times you pull your heads on and off, just get some BBK 1 3/4" headers. You'll love the single flange.

We didn't get to run today due to the dence fog. So everyone got a rain check. I really don't see why we weren't running. I have raced in much worse out there before.

Well since I left my damn key for my lug nuts at the house, it was just as well. Hopefully next Sat. will be just as cold, but clear! Good luck, Joe. Been there, done that, wasn't any fun.

Chuckle, and start yet another heated debate? Whatever I can find cheap. The size is a secondary consideration since they will still be a big improvement over my Flowtech POS shorties. I do have a lot of time invested in them to clean out all the slag, open up the flanges and trim back the balls. Maybe I'll frame them...
