What about a 13/15 gt350? There's still about 14 or so new ones available for sale at Gaudin ford in LV. Just talk to Manny. Similar price, rare, and new. Not to mention supercharged as well. But I personally would want to get the 16 gt350r. But that's just me. Hope my input has some value

I test drove a GT500 and it felt like a nose heavy pig. Yes it was powerful, but it couldn't even be used on a Saturday drive around the bay area.
I guess I'll wait a bit and see. Hard to find a GT350 to even test drive

I've driven many nose heavy pigs and they're just fine for a drive around any area. What they're not ok for is driving around Laguna Seca etc.
As far as nose heavy in the 500? That could be helped with battery relocation to the rear and possibly a new front cradle (k member) to start.
As far as pure driving, I don't think there is much to compare. The 350 is the clear choice for me as far as the ultimate driving experience. Old school NA power, new technology high revving engine, brakes, comfort...etc.
Both great cars though

What about a cts-v coupe? There seem to be a lot for sale for decent prices. [ 2016-02-24, 10:14 AM: Message edited by: Hungry Hippo ]

I've been looking for a nice CTS-V sedan but they seem to be extremely hard to find. Harder than a GT500. The coupe looks ugly to me especially in the back.

I don't like the coupes either. I been watching the sedans and wagons and they have gone up in price recently. I really like the gt350 as well, but personally i would wait a couple years to buy one. I've never driven a gt500, but its cornering capabilities should be beyond what you can do on the street. There are some cheap things you can do like performance alignment, shocks, sway bars that will help it feel better.
